Yes it is already January 2012, and SoPa Square has not slowed down, in fact visually things are speeding up. Should you drive by the construction site you will see re-bar standing approximately 7 meters high or 24 feet above ground. At the very top of this re-bar will be the start of our Life Style Homes and below will be the retail shops, professional office’s and open market space.

And I couldn’t help but  put a picture of the foot who dares go up so high to take these pictures for us. Be careful up there and I am glad it is you not me!

HOLIDAY HOURS

SOPA Square is on its way and next year when it arrives, it won’t be under your tree wrapped in pretty Holiday paper with a silver bow, but it will here on Pandosy Street for you to enjoy.

Imagine, the building is up; the trees nestled along the wide sidewalks sprinkled in white lights and each store window with a beautiful Holiday display. In the middle of the courtyard a large brightly lit community Holiday tree. The music is playing, people gathering in their winter coats and caps while sipping on their mocha’s, taking a break from their holiday shopping. Yes… next year South Pandosy will not be the same as SOPA Square will be here!!!  And if you are lucky maybe you will be one of those who live here….

More action in South Pandosy as the cement trucks are lined up pouring there contents into yet another portion of the street level floor of SOPA Square. This time it is the portion of floor for our Open Market Space. For those of you who have been to Granville Island in Vancouver you will know exactly what is being created here.  Yes SOPA Square will have its own Open Market with  7 metre high ceilings and many wonderful merchants to delight our senses with wonderful fresh food choices.

This portion of SOPA will be the home to shops such as Twisted Roots, Cod Fathers Seafood,  Mission Meats, Floral Expressions, Toast Brake, Quizno’s and Bliss Bakery. You will be able to wander about the market with a freshly brewed coffee from Bliss Bakery in hand while choosing your fresh dinner ingredients for the meal you are about to prepare. You may decide to meet a friend at SOPA for a latte,  perhaps lunch or maybe a fabulous healthy breakfast. Whatever it is you wish to do…the Open Market will be here in the Summer of 2012 for you to enjoy!
